First of all: At some point I really thought, we couldn't do it. 16 pages, what was I thinking! Then again, with the superb help and support by my partner Runic I managed to get my part done in time! I can't thank the guy enough! Working with him is truly fun!

So, our share looked like this:

Lineart of page 1-5, inks of page 12-15 most of the shading and all the lettering: Runic

Lineart of page 5-15, shading of Page 10, 11 and 13: Me

I'm just happy we made it, even though it was close. Next cycle will be two pages of stickfigures.

Phew. This was a lot of work. But I must say--inking over your line art Frost. Damn man. I was FLOORED with most of your pages. Especially with Soraya slicin' them fools up!

Also, tentacles suck.

I am really worried for my characters against Soraya. Please... please be gentle Elyan.

Note to self: When shading, start everything in gray. Thanks Frost!

Great entry guys! Love that you were able to shade it the whole way through, I wish I had found the time for that in my comic!
Also a great introduction cycle for a round! You didn't go right into it, and left it nicely open for the next artist!
My only crit is Ridley's view of Feuersturm, it strikes me as plain rhetoric that's been used for the entire duration of WFA. not only has this been the main angst riddled talk against the Celestial Empire but I think it would benefit the character more if these own morale beliefs were less monologued and came out differently, Ridley strikes me as a tough, smart character, I'd think she would be more aware of the inconsistency's of war and the loss of moral on both sides.
Sorry, this is just my way of looking at things, it doesn't damage the comic at all and it was an awesome entry, You've done a great job guys.

This is a very impressive entry. Both of your presences as artists are readily apparent here, and yet I find myself in the interesting situation of not being quite able to tell where Runic's art stops and FF's art begins. You guys really figured out a way to make that stylistic transition totally seamless, which is especially intriguing given the fact that your characters are so different. The story must have taken a great deal of thought as well. You guys really did an enormous amount of work in a week! Hats off to you!

Excellent teamwork and excellent pages here! The art and story are both really impressive, yay for detail and nicely hideous sorceror warlords. Those slice and dice panels are super brutal, eally shows how dangerous Soraya is! I spot where Gene went to! And some other familiar face. Good job.

i apologie for the arabic soldiers who dissappeared somehow and for the strange last page. i´ll care for both a bit when i managed the SDT tomarrow.

I have no clue why my pages look that strange and why the hell they are resized... ;_; i´ll try to fix it. i´m thankful for tips
