Drawing and designing hell really is quite fun isn't it? No rules, personal nightmares- very cool alphabet there. The pencils are especially nice- who did those?

God. Damn. GOD DAMN. I probably had to read this 5 times, mouth agape, before I dragged my quivering cursor over to sexually harass the "Post Reply" button.

No doubt this has been a long 2 month journey of constructing an epic degree of LEGENDARY that has turned out to be this fight. I'm highly pleased that each team was able to get our entries in on time with such efficiency as well as the outcome overall. I want to leave something worthwhile regarding feedback for you guys to read, so I shall do so.

There is so much sheer awesomeness going on in here. I wasn't in the least bit worried about how you guys would handle the effort of drawing so many goddamned characters because you guys are TEAM SLOW. You could pull it off, and you DID pull it off. And without a doubt, every single one of you should give yourselves a pat on the back; definitely kick back and relax deservingly, knowing that this battle is finally over.

Einheit, your colors, even for that one panel, is splendid and vibrant to look at! And Sin, seeing a 100% inked, colored page in your style is such a rarity that I had to have a double-take to make sure I wasn't mistaking artists. (I'm gonna guess that maybe someone ELSE, perhaps Einheit colored it? because it isn't Sin's usual color palette or style... and Five did clean pencils with it?) Quite the treat, and the Teletubbies tidbit made me laugh out loud.

RunicKnight, excellent show! I realize Cel and I have basically bequeathed you the task of drawing so many demons, and yet despite that, you dealt with them quite well. Your spontaneous and lively style never fails to entertain and add that needed touch of light-hearted humor that mixes in and flows well with the overall story, and I totally dug how you included references such as "Double Rainbow", "Haters gonna hate", and acknowledging Axius' and ZK's close friendship by having them bro-fist in the "Celebratory" montage page. Of course, none of that detracted from the more serious segments of your story with Ridley and Cheyan's split-up, and Ridley's seperate and brutal encounter with the demons herself down to the point where even one of her horns has been severed and her top is gone! You can definitely feel her aggressive and headstrong fighting spirit from your pages. Very good work!

Ben, you bastard! You're always dealing out pages with ridiculous amounts of detail in the most subtle ways in your trademark cartoony style. In this Cycle alone you've probably drawn up to 83927398273293 group pictures and that grandiose feat is highly admirable for a single person to take on. Your pages are beautiful with your man-handling of masses of people and group shots, and still manage capture the magnitude of their travels- as well as the conflicts and fights that transpire. You're damned good at showing scale, and you're damned patient with handling every little intricacy that each character and background scene has. Loved that you showed Axius' electrical abilities briefly, as well as hinting at his immunity to fire. ZK's double-thumbs up to the trolls and boulders was an excellent touch. And of course.. to top it off, your legions and armies towards the end was great! I'm highly jealous of you, you stupid awesome genius painter!

Cola! Just splendid! Once again you don't disappoint with your clean and legible style. Love your dymanic contribution to the group assaulting Demetere panel, because it shows your proficiency with angles! Was it bad that I laughed at Celestial smiling in the scene after Liza took off her shorts for Alti to wear? I also gotta love that panel where Arcana interjects with "STUFF IT!", which was so hilariously drawn. Great, crystal clear shots of the group abound, I like how you made the effort to try to show everyone accurately in a non-confusing disposition and you did a good job showing the emotional disputes that happened with Cheyan, Kensington, and Leigh. I wonder if the verbal ambiguity that goes on between CN and Cel was intended, since I found myself wanting to know what they were discussing, namely to understand better where Leigh was coming from. Your first two pages of the Alphabet montage were quite different from the rest of your pages that I didn't know at first that they was yours, but your environments, and scenery layouts are quite splendid to look at there! You get a really good sense of atmosphere from looking at them, and your choice of colors are fun.

Finally, Five! Your pages are so full and gorgeous, and I always find myself staring and loving your angles and compositions mixed in with your great choices of palette without overwhelming the viewer. You just seem to know how to weigh out your settings just right so you don't overflow them visually. I still love your style, people can certainly tell that you carefully make sure everything looks well proportioned and not lacking in balance of details, showing your incredible technical drawing ability with anatomy and just about everything else. I wish I had your ability to envision and draw such powerful and impactful angles, and I love how you draw Axius. Pretty much every character you draw, you manage to make them convey such realistic expression and life without any forceful or obviously visible exaggeration, which is a powerful skill to have. I commend you for being so awesome!

Ah yes, and of course, Father Frost, if I'm not mistaken, has contributed those penciled guestpages towards the end. Excellent choices of shots- I am digging your variety here, your pages are interesting to look at with creative environments, and those balancing of values and volumes makes things quite easy to distinguish apart. Good stuff!

Phew, I'm all commented out now, but thank you so much, each and every one of you, Team Slow, for giving us gorgeous comic pages constantly each Cycle. I'm guessing the cliffhanger at the end will lead into the Renegades' comic? And which in that case, I eagerly look forward to. I'm so glad to have battled you all, because you guys are such worthy opponents, and I'm hoping at some point, maybe I'll be able to fight at least one of you (hopefully more than one!) again individually? I look forward to Chapter 3 and what it has in store for WFA!

Well guys. That was that.
I can honestly say that I'm sad this round has ended for us. I want to have BOBGD do another cycle but unfortunately, that's not the case.
I really really enjoyed the match ups we had and I am very proud that we managed to work A LOT of characters into our round.
Though I do wish Zenith came with us through Hell.. and I do kind of wish Ridley went along with the journey through it. But having her around would make CN completely useless. D'oh.

Ben. I love you. Seriously. Bromance! You managed to pull off all those pages! It seemed rather daunting and you did have me worry a bit that you weren't going to finish on time but you did it! I can't imagine how tired you are. You were up late all the time working on this. At least to like.. 1 AM my time. Which is 6 AM your time! Or around that neck of the woods.
All of your drawings painted each character flawlessly. I laughed with Cheyan's craving for pie near the end of our cycle because that is exactly what would be going through her mind when she's that wiped out.
Not to mention Kensington's craving for blood. She nearly lost it!

Five. I love you too. Seriously. Vampromance? Despite you not having that much time for this cycle you managed with a wealthy amount of pages and content! It doesn't even seem like you were lacking in the least bit! The amount of care and detail you put into your pages inspire me to work more on my own content. It also makes me envious! I'm so so so so happy to have teamed up with you. It pains me that it probably won't happen again soon enough. You had some GREAT ideas for this cycle.

I know how much hard work you put into your pages. I really enjoyed seeing your progress. I love the ideas you shot me for my own pages and inking/coloring over your Ridley page with the imps was a delight! I tried to include all of your line work in the inking because I hate losing those little details. It makes the drawing feel more... full?
Anyway.
You've impressed me. I've seen the pages before but they were never fully complete. When I was going through your pages last night to put them all in order to the rest of our pages I was floored.
Cola, you've shown a lot of dedication to this team and I am so happy to have the opportunity to have a little team up with you! I will most likely have another team up OR EVEN a fight with you depending on what goes down with Chapter 3.

Ein! I decided to post your page first because it is beautiful. It was originally a bit later but I didn't want to hide it in my mess of pages.

Father Frost. Yesssss! I was so happy to learn that you were going to contribute some pages. I knew it would be a perfect fit since you draw monsters/demons/disturbing things so well.
Even if your pages do not look as polished as you would like them to look. They work. And I can't tell that they are not up to your standards. = D

Airlight, Nyx, Qyz, Ron. Thank you so much for being reliable and carrying forth our characters in a believable manner. It was a real honor and pleasure "fighting" you. And I hope I will fight/team up with either one or two or three or four of you in the future!

P.S: Demon dude, the ball is in your court now! I hope we did everything justice for you to work with.

My comrades! I could not have asked for a better team for this long battle. You have all worked so hard and it shows! It turned out just great. Also, a really big thanks to Ein for helping out at short notice with his super skills! And to Frost for doing all those fantastically creepy panels.

I think I could have done much better with some of my pages. But I was bad and was at the womad festival over the last few days, so had to rush through them during what time I had late at night. But I am glad you guys like them! And I'm looking forward to seeing how this whole Hell thing ends. : D

Sorry for my late reply, I came back home from a very exhausting week an hour ago and the first thing I did after watering the plants was reading this fight. I LOVE YOU GUYS! ALL OF YOU! <3
I'm very proud of everyone for working so hard and for being reliable. I wish we could do this more often.
It was a pleasure and honor to go through hell with all of you, and I hope I get to fight or team up with any of you again at some point. :-)

Team Slow: Great work on this cycle yet again. I saw some wip pages but they did not prepare me for the final beauty of your pages! I can just agree with everything that was posted before. Reading these pages was wonderful and gave me a big smile.
Special thanks to Einheit who colored my Sin page and added an extra layer (must post this later, it's fun!), and drew that attack panel despite you know what.
Also big thanks to Father Frost who drew these pages in like one day. They fit so well, you did a great job!


Now I hope the Renegades will manage to finish their entry soon so we can all see how this journey ends.

Oi! Righto! I thought he thought there was gonna be a sixth cycle.

I am excited to see that comic, wish I could help, but I was away the last three days and I've got other comic battles unfortunately to take care of/win right now =(.

Edit: Though how much longer is it until that thing is completed? Cause if its going to be another week and a half or so, once Sunday hits I'll be able to do a page or two maybe. Thats another week though =O

At this point- its all written- my pages are done just needs lettering- which I'm still figuring out. I've enlisted several other people to fill pages as the story apparently needs quite a bit more epic resolution than I'd initially expected. There have been some issues and communication breakdowns however which are slowing the process down. As you might imagine- resolving several years worth of hanging plot threads and four teams worth of character interactions is a wee bit time consuming.


Ideally I'd like to have it down and out in the next week so the Chapter resolution comic can incorporate the tale into our Arcadian Lore Canon but I am unsure how that fares. Suffice it to say- this story will have massive reprecushions and ramifications on the game and world from here on out. Just a matter of getting people to do their parts.
